LAYERS OF REGRIEF is an oil painting in the vein of fantasy and imaginary landscapes, filled with dream creatures in an animated dreamscape. Painted shortly after my Mother's passing from Parkinson's, after a five-year battle, there was a shifting of multiple layers simultaneously, layers of grief, relief, and release.
